NORMAN CROSS (HUNTS.) - INGOING PREPAID COVER EX FRANCE TO THIS LITTLE-KNOWN CAMP; Fine 17 Nov. 1806 EL from the small Brittany town of "Pont-Scorff" to a P.O.W. at Norman Cross Camp; "A M. Francois Louis Marie Petis-Corp, prisonnier francais au Prison de Normancrosse En Angleterre" additionally endorsed "de guerre provenant de la fregate la Belle Poulle", prepaid "15" (decimes; noted on reverse) with a fine red "P. 54 P./L'ORIENT" and fair red "P.P.P.P." on the front. From the addressee;s father who has just heard that he is a prisoner and is sending 50 francs. Very few letters to or from this Camp have been recorded.
