WWI - SPECTACULAR REGD. P. STATIONERY ENV. WITH TRIANGULAR CENSOR, "R/ZAILA" & "AR" IN CIRCLE: 24 June 1916 usage of the Somaliland KGV 1a Red P. Stat. env. (opened out for display; minor edge faults) uprated with 4a tied by fair barred "B" cancels but also having a very fine boxed "R/ZAILA" mark and fine purple 2-ring (Zaila) "AR" (Avis de Reception) mark alongside. On the reverse is a Zaila cds and a very fine rare purple triangular "PASSED BY/POSTAL CENSOR/BRITISH SOMALILAND" mark. Exhibition Quality.
