A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK 1920, from a Belfast & County Down Railway 5ft 3ins gauge 4-6-4T No 24, one of a class of four large tank engines built by BP, Works No 6001, and employed on Belfast to Bangor services. It became part of the Ulster Transport Authority in 1948 when it was renumbered 224 and was scrapped in 1956 after the class was replaced by diesel multiple units. Cast brass, 9¾"x5¾", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
