** Provenance provided by the current owner:
The watch was purchased in Scotland 1936-1938 and owned by the current owner's father until his death in service with the R.A.F. in 1940, the watch survived the crash and evidence of smoke remains on the dial. The watch was passed on to the current owner's mother and then to the owner. The watch was fully serviced in 2013.
Box and Papers - no.
Movement - currently functioning.
Dial - tarnishing, discolouration and marks/wear - see image.
Glass - good.
Hands - mild small tarnish spots.
Case - light surface marks and some mild tarnishing.
Crown - adjusting correctly, appears to be a replacement.
Strap - modern, good.
