A Chinese underglazed copper red ‘phoenix’ bowl, Kangxi period (1662-1722). The exterior decorated with five phoenix roundels and a further roundel centred to the interior. Six character Kangxi reign marks enclosed within concentric rings in underglaze blue beneath. 6.9 cm height, 10.2 cm diameter.
Condition report: Some very light surface wear with hairline to side as illustrated.
