1882 (Short) Pattern British Cavalry Trooper Sword By Robert Mole Birmingham A good clean example with single edged blade with etched cutlers panel of ROBERT MOLE & SONS MAKERS BIRMINGHAM. The Hilt with pierced guard and two piece leather grip, with five rivets. Housed in Regulation pattern metal scabbard with two fixed rings. Blade length 33 inches The scabbard with faint stamps CMR which may indicate Cape Mounted Rifles.
