1853 First Pattern Enfield Contract Three Band Percussion Rifle By Windsor


.577, 39 inch barrel.  Front blade sight and rear ladder sight.  Military lock plate marked "Windsor" with faint date.  The tang with crown.  Military pattern percussion hammer.  Polished full stock woodwork.  Brass butt plate, trigger guard and end cap.  Three steel barrel bands secured by captive springs.  Steel ramrod.  Complete with socket bayonet.  17 inch, hollow ground, triangular form blade.  The forte with maker "F Preston Manchester".  Steel shoulder and socket.  Locking ring removed.  2 items.


Windsor Enfields were made in the USA and often used during The American Civil War.  Interesting history.
