black beaver bicorn. Black acorn decorated braid edging. The side with black silk rosette and gilt wire decoration with lower, gilt KC RN button. Each end of the bicorn with gilt wire tassels. Tan leather sweatband partly absent. White silk crown lining. Together with its matching, Officer, gilt braid shoulder straps with end crescent and hanging wire tassels. The face with bullion embroidery, Kings crown over naval anchor. Rear with maker "Gieves Ltd". All contained in its rectangular, japanned tin, named to "R W Nesbitt". Some service wear.
