WW2 Home Front Civil Defence Factory Steel Helmet


black painted outer shell.  The front stencilled "K" over "TW & C Ltd".  Crown with overpainted silver circle and rear, crudely painted, stylised swastikas.  Black treated linen liner.  Fibre frame with maker dated 1939.  Rubber cruciform crown pad.  Sprung webbing chinstrap.  Some minor rusting.
