An early 20th century gold, diamond and sapphire crescent brooch pin. The crescent brooch pin set with nine oval cut sapphires interspersed by thirty old cut diamonds to hinge pin and c-clasp verso. The brooch pin also having a safety chain and pin. Unmarked however surface tests indicate gold. Maker's mark T&S. Principal sapphire measures 6mm x 5mm x 3.3mm. To come presented in a blue velvet from Jay's Diamond Merchant, Goldsmith and Jeweller of Oxford Street, London. Measures 5.3cm x 1.5cm. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
