Davies, Brecon, no. 50197, with pierced engraved balance cock with mask, steel three arm balance and Bosley type regulator, the dial with Roman numerals, Fluer-de-Lis hands, within plain matching cases, case maker 'WR' (William Ryley), 56mm
Movement - currently functioning, the movement does not fit the inner case correctly and we believe the movement and case to be associated.
Dial - hairline to the centre, chip mark to the outer edge at the twelve position, light surface marks.
Glass - surface marks.
Hands - light surface marks.
Case - inner case back has a circular impression to the centre and the hallmarks are rubbed - this appears to have been caused by the balance cock pushing against the inner case, the movement does not fit the inner case correctly, some tarnishing and surface marks, the winding hole appears to have been cut larger, play in the movement hinge, outer case with some heavy tarnishing and surface marks.
