CIRCLE OF MARIA VERELST (1680-1744) A portrait of a lady identified as Anna Gibson, daughter of Sir Alexander Gibson of Durie, "Lady Touchadam", wearing a pearl necklace and earrings, bust-length, oval, inscribed, oil on canvas, 75cm x 62cm, apparently retaining the original carved giltwood frame, bearing a label inscribed "Anna Gibson married John Murray 1693".

Provenance: The Murray family at Polmaise Castle, Cambusbarron, Scotland, and thence by descent.
