Pair of bronze figures, 'Milton' and 'Shakespeare', originally published by I & R Warner, July 1827, both nicely patinated in rich brown (Shakespeare lacking his quill), mounted on ebonised wooden plinth bases, 15.5cm
Both are in good condition with a rich brown patina, Shakespeare however is lacking his quill from his right hand. Both are inscribed verso and are on original ebonised wooden bases.
