c.1900, a blonde tortoiseshell fan, the monture piqué with steel, the cream gauze embroidered with silver sequins and spangles, guard approx. 21cm, together with a pink mother of pearl fan, the upper guard dated September 27th, 1905, the cream gauze leaf applied with cream machine lace and painted with butterflies, guard approx. 24cm (2)
The first fan is very, very slightly warped. The leaf on the second fan is distressed, the monture is sound.
