1640's Charles I & Henrietta Maria, cast silver Royalist badge by Thomas Rawlins, bust of King right with falling lace collar, engraved initials 'M P I' on truncation, reverse: bust of Henrietta Maria left, wearing figured bodice with pearl necklace & pendant, signed below T. RAWLINS F, 40.4 x 31.5mm (MI 354/215; Eimer 169). Set into a curious, though contemporary, grooved border, GVF and the portraits well preserved.
