19TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL SCHOOL, Head and shoulders portrait of a young boy holding soap? in his hand and bubbles floating to the right hand side, painted as an oval with faux mount, unsigned, oil on oak panel, 33.5cm x 28.5cm, in a late 20th century gilt frame (Condition Report: the painting would benefit from a clean, all four corners of the panel have losses and the top left has a vertical split, there is craquelure on the surface as well as a scratch to the left of the face and a hair in the paint upper left)
