A 10 bore 1796 pattern flintlock holster pistol by T. Ketland & Co, 15½” overall, brass plated barrel 9” with no visible proofs; lock stamped with crowned “GR” and “T Ketland & Co”on the tail; walnut fullstock with regulation brass mounts and correct steel ramrod. Good Working Order and Condition (dark patina to lock which has some very light pitting). The barrel and tang have been brass plated possibly for use at sea or on a merchant ship. Plate 10
