Incomplete plated copy of an Iron Age uninscribed Silver Unit of the Eastern Anglian region/Iceni dating to c.20 BC-AD 40, 'Crescent Corn Ears' type. Obverse: Opposing crescents and pellet in ring motifs at the centre of four corn ears, pellet triad in each quarter. Reverse: Horse left with pellets on the shoulder, a six spoked wheel and plain arcabove, pellet in ring below. As ABC p. 85, no 1591; BMC nos. 3767-3774; Sestertius of Unknown emperor; Septimius Sedorus AD193-211 Silver Plated Denarius copper core; Nummus(4) House of Valentinian, etc; other ancient coins(7) mostly identified and written up by British Museum
