A builders plate, SR 61327 ASHFORD, from a 25 ton shunting truck used at Bournemouth West Depot and built from a converted tender (LBSCR C2 Class) under order A998, 1939. Two such vehicles were converted; the other vehicle is illustrated on Plate 298 of Southern Wagons Pictorial (OPC / Mike King), the numberplate clearly visible on the underframe. 61327 was withdrawn in April 1969. A fine casting in phosphor bronze, 13½"x7½", the "A" symbol cast in the back. (Postage Band: C)
