Great Britain: Barking Jute Factory Ltd., £5 shares, 18[89], #061, decorative brown printing. Opened in 1866, a large 3 storey factory employing some 1600 people, many brought from Dundee, the centre of jute production. This company took over in the 1880's but closed its doors in 1891 when it became a rubber factory. The factory was demolished in the 1980's. Pinholes top left, GVF.
