A Coalbrookdale-type porcelain inkstand, centred by a taper stick and flanked by a pair of wells, the pen recess painted with country flowers, profusely encrusted and applied with blossoming flowers painted in colourful tones, scalloped edges, scroll handle, Rococo cartouche-shaped feet, 21cm wide, pseudo-Meissen crossed swords in underglaze blue, c.1830; a similar pair of Staffordshire porcelain taper sticks, 'crenellated' rims, square bases picked out in gilt, 8.5cm high, c.1830 (2), [3]
