A 19th century flowerhead-shaped Chinese porcelain pedestal dish: hand-decorated in enamels with a flying bird carrying a prunus blossom sprig above flowering peony; the exterior decorated with floral sprigs; spreading circular foot decorated in green enamels with stylised waves; six-character red Tongzhi seal mark to underside. (17.25 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm high)
