Augustus Edwin John OM (Welsh, 1878-1961), Gypsy Caravan and Horse, etching on laid paper, signed in pencil lower right "John", inscribed on back of frame "Purchased by the Duchess of Leeds from Augustus John's studio sale after his death in 1963", framed, 5 X 6in. (12.7 X 15.2cm.). *Caroline Vatcher (Jersey, 1931-2005) became Duchess of Leeds upon her marriage to the Duke of Leeds in 1955.
