An Indian General Service Medal 1908 with Two Clasps - Waziristan 1921-24 and North-West Frontier 1930-31 (bazaar rivets). Named to 18741 Dvr Gehna Singh 112P Bty (Driver, 112 Pack Battery). Note: Mountain artillery was developed to allow field guns to accompany forces operating in mountainous regions. The guns were dismantled into three loads (piece, carriage and wheels) and carried on mules. 112 (Poonch) Pack Battery was formed from the 32nd Mountain Battery in 1920 and was equipped with the 3.7 inch Mountain Howitzer. (Poonch is a district of Jammu and Kashmir).
