A WWI American Brodie's Pattern steel helmet, with turned over rim, the underside of the brim stamped "ZE57", the inside of the lining with US Ordnance Equipment Inspection stamp, the front of the skull with painted regimental mark of a black disc with traces of a cross in the centre (Red Cross?), with leather chinstrap. GC (slight wear to lining and chin strap). £250-300
