A Staffordshire pottery flatback figure of a cricketer, 19th century, 26cm high (at fault)
The piece shows a repair to the neck and a small repair approximately 1cm square to the base. There is wear and scratching to the over-glaze decoration, particularly on the hat. The gloss glazed areas show surface crazing. The gilt highlight on the base shows heavy rubbing.
