A QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA AND LATER GROUP OF SIX TO THE 1ST DRAGOON GUARDS. A group of seven comprising Queen's South Africa Medal with Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902 clasps, 1914 Star named to 4276 Sjt C. Beech 1/D.Gds, War Medal and Victory Medal named to Beech as Warrant Officer 2nd class, Delhi Durbar 1911 Medal named to Sgt C. Beech K.D. Gds and Austrian Diamond Jubilee 1848-1898 similarly named. The last two privately named. Mounted for display. Charles Beech entered the First World War on the 11th November 1914, he was wounded on the 16th June 1915 and entitled to a wound stripe. Also recorded with number D.19453.
