A WW2 G.I’s Souvenir Hallmarked German Silver Plate from the Hotel Meurice in Paris, which was commandeered by the Nazis at their Head Quarters for “Gross Paris” (Greater Paris Region) on the back is scratched “Liberated By Sgt James Paris 1944 - 4th Inf Div”
