MADEIRA/FRANCE - THREE UNPAID COVERS TO LE HAVRE WITH CIRCLE "GB/1F" & STRUCK IN ERROR "GB/2F___": 1 May 1869 unpaid E (horiz. filing crease; two small holes, one repaired by hinge) from Funchal to Le Havre via London with "GB/2F___" accountancy mark (fine strike but affected by tear) struck in error instead of the correct "GB/1F" used for Madeira/Canaries. Mar. 1857 (with British P.O. "MADEIRA" cds on reverse) E to Le Havre (16 Mar. backstamp) with the appropriate circle "GB/1F" mark (mostly fine, affected by filing crease) on the front with ms "32" decimes charge. "PLYMOUTH/MR18/1857/C/PACKETLETTER" on reverse. Mar. 1862 unpaid EL from Madeira (fair oval "MADEIRA" hs on front) to Le Havre with mostly fine circle "GB/1F" mark on the front.
