A FRENCH GILDED ORMOLU COPPER OVAL JEWELLERY CASKET, late 19th century, the top, front, back and sides with panels depicting medieval scenes of hunting and feasting, the hinged top opening to reveal a turquoise velvet lined interior, 4 1/2 x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", together with a similar French ormolu rectangular casket, stamped T & E Paris, 11 3/4" wide (2) (Est. plus 24% premium inc. The hinge to the oval casket is damaged and the velvet interior has water marks and other signs of use. The rectangular casket is missing its feet and the interior velvet has numerous losses.
