A very fine platinum, vari-cut diamond floral fob watch, circa 1900, with moonstone cabochon crown and grisaille enamel painted reverse depicting a goddess, case numbered 2736 and 51385, movement signed Grand Prix Paris 1900, suspended from a carved sapphire cabochon and diamond foliate brooch surmount, with similarly designed spacer, estimated total diamond weight 1.20ct, total weight 31.3g Provenance: from the estate of the late Lady Kathleen Sheila Grade

- Overall good to fair condition - Sapphires are a well matched, medium deep blue hue, with fair clarity - Sapphires are in good condition, with some abrasions, some with surface reaching inclusions - Diamonds are well matched and bright, a few with small chips - Enamel is in good to fair condition, with general wear and a few deeper scratches - Watch is not currently ticking, but winder can be pulled out and hands can be set - Clients are advised to view and inspect items before bidding and they must satisfy themselves as to the condition of every lot - For enquiries about this lot please contact David Pregun at [email protected]
