A late 18th Century mahogany framed open armchair in the Chippendale style, with carved back rail and pierced lyre shaped back over a drop in tapestry upholstered seat and carved knees, with claw and ball front feet, height of back 96cm, height of seat 45cm and width across the arms 61cm, some damages and later repairs.

More Information

The rear of one of the arms is currently detached and the elbow of the same arm has an old repair. The apron above both knees has repairs to old splits. The knees are scuffed.
The tapestry seat is later.
