A collection of Coalport 'Coalbrookdale' floral-encrusted wares, circa 1825-30 comprising a spill vase, the unglazed base with a blue printed 'Coalport' mark, 8.5cm high; an ink well with cover and liner, raised on four paw feet, underglaze blue 'CD' mark, 9cm high; a small twin-handled cup on quatrelobe raised base, nicely painted with flowers, 8.5cm high; a ring stand, with small figural head to the top of the column, 10cm diameter; and a matched miniature or toy tea service, comprising teapot and cover, teacup and saucer, printed 'Coalport' and 'CD' marks, and a sucrier lacking cover, unmarked; sold together with two English porcelain thimbles (qty) Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
