A group of Furness Railway signal lever plates from Plumpton Junction box between Grange Over Sands and Ulverston. a) 43, SHUNT BACK UP MAIN TO PRIORY, 6¾", b) 25, DISC, UP MAIN TO TURNTABLE, 4½", c) 4, UP MAIN TO LAKE SIDE HOME, 4½". Each engraved brass, with brackets to the rear. Plumpton was the junction for Windermere Lakeside and the Conishead Priory branch, the latter closing in 1916 though a short section to Bardsea Works was retained until 1994.
