A BR(S) station sign, HALT, (flangeless), from Milborne Port on the West of England main line between Templecombe and Sherborne. Milborne Port Station was downgraded to Milborne Port Halt on 6th November 1961. The station was destaffed and tickets were issued by the signalman. Three enamel plates were fitted beneath the enamel running in boards and the signal box nameboard, of which this is one. Totems were also fitted at the same time. The station closed in 1966.
