More Information

Overall in good decorative order. The stand - some minor glaze chipping to the reeds and extremities, one of the flamingo's legs has been cracked and restuck, footrim chip to base. Some minor firing cracks to underside of base.  The jardiniere - One petal of rim restored, another petal at rim cracked across and restuck, two hairline cracks from rim, further glaze flakes and old retouching to edges of petals and rims, a hairline crack to body of jardiniere and across base. All areas of cracking and some of the flaking has been retouched, but this has discoloured through age and could easily be removed and retouched. Some typical firing cracks.
