Napoleonic War Period 1796 Infantry Pattern Officer Blue and Gilt Sword.

A good example with a 82 cm blade with 1/2 length blue and gilt (60% present) etched decoration of a crowned GR cypher, Royal Coat of Arms and flora. The hilt of the regulation pattern with single bar guard terminating with a bud finial and retaining folding guard. A silvered grip is surmounted by an urn pommel. Complete with black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. Overall GC some age wear.
