William Copeland Borlase. 'The Age of the Saints,' 'A Monograph of Early Christianity in Cornwall with the Legends of the Cornish Saints and an Introduction Illustrative of the Ethnology of the District,' first edition, only 40 copies of this special large paper edition have been printed, 35 being for sale, tipped in are three letters from W. C. Borlase, Laregan (1877–1894) to Johnathan Rashleigh, Menabilly and Hastings, additionally a letter confirming ‘’the Plane-an-Guare’’ has been restored at a cost of £70, a very fine copy, bookplate of John Blowey, Joseph Pollard, Truro, 1893.
