An early Derby two-handled oval basket, central oval reserve painted in underglaze blue with a stylized Chinese landscape, faux weave borders outlined in further underglaze blue, ropetwist handles, exterior ornamented with flowerhead bosses at angles, blue circular foot, 27cm wide, c.1760

One small arch section restored. Otherwise with stable firing stresses here and there. Pitting as expected. Some surface wear. Please see attached images.
