TWO MID-19TH CENTURY GEM-SET BROOCHES

comprising A MID-19TH CENTURY IMPERIAL TOPAZ AND SPLIT PEARL BROOCH, an oval pink-orange imperial topaz within a double border of split pearls, indistinctly marked, probably '15CT', 1.3cm by 1.5cm, 2.8 grams; and A PURPLE PASTE AND SPLIT PEARL BROOCH, 2cm by 2.5cm. (2)



Imperial topaz brooch, light wear to the pearls and ingrained dirt within settings. The topaz is of pale pink-orange colour, the topaz measures 4.00 x 5.20mm approximately. It fastens with a pin and c-hook. The second brooch is set in base metal.
