US 1832 Model Foot Artillery short sword dated 1834, ricasso stamped with eagle and shield over N.P. Ames (worn in places), other side shows remains of United/States/1834, pommel with eagle and shield to both sides, point of blade slightly worn and light contact marks to handle and crossguard, generally nearly very fine. Ames was a Massachusetts based company. Plus 1873 Model socket bayonet for Springfield trapdoor rifle and scabbard, ricasso stamped U.S., metal scabbard with slide on leather frog with brass loop hanger with large US to centre, bayonet and scabbard extremely fine, frog with light cracking to leather generally very fine and M3 trench knife with M8 scabbard, blade unmarked, crossguard face marked US M3/Camillus, scabbard marked U.S.M8/B.M.Co, about very fine.
