George III silver quarter repeating pocket watch by Markwick, Markham and Perigal, London, circa 1760-80, for the Turkish market, the pair case pierced and engraved with floral bouquets, white enamelled dial signed 'Markwick Markham Perigal, London', the back plate signed and numbered 12165, striking on a bell, 48mm diameter

The outer case, whilst showing signs of wear, is in relatively good order. The dial has a small number of fine hair cracks. There are worn details to the inner case. The watch is currently ticking when wound. The repeat mechanism works. The hour hand is attached but loose.
