Impressive 19th Century Indian Steel Panelled Shield 29 inch diameter, circular, rolled edge shield. The body with engraved edge script and animal scenes. Central, overlaid, darkened brass sun with central face. Four dome head bosses with floral decoration and eight oval or circular, darkened, embossed panels showing Indian Princes with animals. All with dark patina.
