AN EARLY 17TH CENTURY BRONZE TWIN HANDLE COOKING POT, ENGLISH, CIRCA 1620-1640. The circular bronze cooking pot with a stepped everted rim to take a lid, now missing, the body cast with twin angled handle - lifting lugs with striated ribs emanating from the fluted feet, 18cm high and 28cm diameter. Note - .Down hearth cooking pots and cauldrons are more commonly seen without a recess for a lid.
