A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CASED SET OF MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLED CUTLERY, comprising twenty four table knives, twenty four dessert/side knives and four graduated sizes of carving knives and forks, fitted over five tiers with four lift out trays, the steel blades stamped Richards & Edwards, the mother of pearl engraved with two crests, the case lock marked 'W. RUSSELS SECURITY, BRAMAHS PATENT (WITH CROWN) S. MORDAN & CO MAKERS' (condition: some blades have been preserved with an oily coating, eleven of the side knives have damage to the handles, many with glued repairs, all four carving knives have damage and repairs to handles, nine dinner knives have some factures in the mother of pearl or chipped, lid is warped and not closing properly)
