A 25 BORE NAVAL OR CUSTOMS PERCUSSION BELT PISTOL bearing post 1855 commercial Birmingham Proof marks fitted with a 6'' barrel and belt hook, it is fitted with a brass butt cap and trigger guard, the lock bears a crown on the tail of the lock and part of the maker's name below the nipple bolster, the lock is in working order and holds at half and full cock, it is fitted with a hinged ram rod, its metal work is heavy pitted overall but has subsequently brightly burnished
