An unusual small silver pincushion in the shape of a camel lying down. Hallmarked Birmingham 1906 and makers mark L & S (Levi and Salaman)
This lot has been consigned from a probate estate. The deceased collected many unusual things from auctions over many years. the item is 6.02 cm from nose to tail. It has not been cleaned for many years and the detailed embossing is good. There is no evidence of splits or repairs where the 2 halves of silver have been joined. The purple velvet is worn, especially to the front (nearest the head). The velvet to the base is reasonable.
