GEORGE, PRINCE OF WALES, silver medal on his attaining his Majority, 1759, by Thomas Pingo, armoured bust left, reverse: Tellus (the Roman Goddess of Mother Earth) watches four dancing maidens, 54.5mm. (MI 698/428; Eimer 666). The medal appears to have been buried for most of its life; water-marked, fair to fine with a poor surface.
