A 19th century Austrian silver-gilt and enamel reliquary, by Rudolf Linke, c.1890, pierced and decorated with multi-coloured enamels, sides set with carved rock crystal panels and a carved plaque depicting a crest of the city of Vienna, the hinged lid opens to reveal a compartment to store religious relic, hallmarked Austrian-Hungarian assay city letter A (Vienna), circa 1880, Makers mark RL (Rudolf Linke) width 10.5cm, depth 5cm, height 20cm
Some minor loss/damage to the enamel in places. Some loss to the gilding, mainly to the back. The two side panels of the crystal drop below the top rim.
