Distinguished Conduct Medal QV Grenadier Guards group - DCM (Corpl James Lee. 3rd Bn Grenadr Gds), Crimea Medal with bars Alma/Balaklava/Inkermann/Sebastopol unnamed as issued, and Turkish Crimea Medal 'La Crimea', Sardinian issue, unnamed as issued. Born St Margarets, Westminster, London. Lee was severely Wounded at the Battle of Alma and Inkermann, and in the Trenches before Sebastopol. He ended up a Drum Major. Lee died suddenly in 1859 from the effects of his wounds received in the head. VF (3)
